Times like this, obstacles can look bigger than ever. They can loom large and overwhelm you with a sense of dread. But remember, we've always made through difficult times and we will continue to do so.
When a cold wind blows, it's a natural instinct to wrap yourself up and make yourself look small. But there are times when in those moments you find the most stunning parts of you, shining as you huddle in the storm.
There are days when I just wanna smash everything up with a bat. But then again, I tell myself that the feeling is only temporary, though it never really is. It's the never-ending cycle of frustration.
As time goes by, it becomes more evident that The Little Prince was never a children's book. The messages in the book, about what it means to grow up, it rings truer as you read it and look back to your own life. In that sense, it is a melancholic story.
As the days get more overwhelming, we can perhaps look to cats to offer us advice. They knock over things without care. They laze around at will. They don't do anything on command. The philosophy that guides cats is what we need these days.
