There's a paradox between people wanting peace, and the experience of loneliness. But this is probably because we think of it from a social context. Peace comes not just from being isolated from others, but from all manmade noise.

There is something about a forest cabin that appeals to the urbanite. It might be connecting with nature, or the chance to isolate yourself from others. Whatever it is, it is proof that a city cannot provide all that a person needs.
